Hireway, a vehicle rental business based in Wishaw, Lanarkshire, has added 50 new Volkswagen vans to its fleet.
The company operates a fleet of 70 Volkswagen commercial vehicles for short, medium and long-term rental, and the new vehicles will replace existing ones as part of the company’s ongoing fleet replacement programme. Hireway is also planning to grow its operations with additional Volkswagen vehicles in an expanded fleet.
The 40 Transporters and 10 Caddys will be used by a variety of businesses for everyday jobs and transporting equipment on a rental basis. Long-term rental customers will be able to have racking and towbars fitted to suit their requirements.
Christy McTear, operations manager at Hireway, said: “Both the Transporter and Caddy are ideal vehicles for the businesses we supply, and with the option of being racked out or having towbars fitted, they can accommodate our varied customer requirements and needs.”
