Toyota will launch its latest collaboration with Arctic Trucks at the 2018 Commercial Vehicle Show, which starts tomorrow at the NEC in Birmingham.

The new Arctic Trucks Toyota Hilux AT35 will be the first version of the model to be sold in the UK. Previous generations found fame in high-profile expeditions with BBC’s Top Gear programme, and have broken world records and established multiple world firsts in both the Arctic and Antarctic.

The Arctic Trucks engineers have given the Hilux 35” all-terrain tyres, 25% more ground clearance and bespoke performance suspension to suit.

The Hilux AT35 will be available to both private and commercial customers throughout the UK from Toyota dealers. The conversion process is fully Toyota approved, so the model benefits from the same five-year/100,000-mile warranty as other Hilux models.

Commenting on the new model, Patrik von Sydow, CEO of Arctic Trucks International, said: “We’re excited to bring the AT35 version of the legendary Hilux to the UK. The model is already successful in other countries, so it was a natural decision to develop and launch the vehicle for the UK market.”
