Mercedes-Benz Vans is launching a special edition version of the Sprinter aimed firmly at retail customers.

The Sprinter Premium Edition follows the success of a similar limited variant offered in 2015 as part of 20th anniversary celebrations for the model.

Available on both three-tonne gross vehicle weight 2-Series models and the larger 3.5-tonne 3-Series, the Premium Edition adds specification to move the vehicle upmarket.

Added to the standard Sprinter specification are an integrated Becker satellite navigation system, audio 15-colour screen infotainment unit, air conditioning, an outside temperature indicator and a ‘Comfort’ driver’s seat with inner armrest, while the exterior gains a chrome-effect radiator grille, full wheel trims and bespoke badging on the rear of the van.

Extra safety aids are also added, including Crosswind Assist, which supports the driver in strong, gusty side winds through automatic brake interventions, and adaptive brake light, Adaptive ESP that takes vehicle load into account, and Mercedes’ Rescue Assist QR code stickers, which provide emergency services critical information at the scene of an accident.

Business users can buy Sprinter Premium Edition models from £379 a month, this purchasing a Euro 5 Sprinter 313CDI LWB HR van over 48 months plus a £19,171.94 deposit and a £9,100.00 optional purchase payment.
