Renault is celebrating a new order for 172 Master vans from office supplies specialist Lyreco.

All of the vehicles are Master panel vans in long wheelbase, medium roof specification, powered by the 2.3-litre 135hp diesel engine in front-wheel drive format and Business trim level. Maximum payload in this specification is 1,530kg.

The deal strengthens Renault’s long-standing relationship with Lyreco, with the 172 new vehicles replacing existing vans from other manufacturers. The vehicles are to be leased through CV leasing specialists Fraikin.

Renault wins GreenFleet award

The Lyreco announcement was not the only good news for the automotive brand this week, as the brand was also awarded “LCV Manufacturer of the Year” at the 2016 GreenFleet Awards. GreenFleet credited the brand’s success to the impressive overall fuel economy of the LCV range and its latest Euro-6 engines.
