Citroën has announced the pricing for its New Relay van range, prior to the 1st July on sale date.

The entry-level 30 L1H1 HDi 110 six-speed manual panel van costs £19,405 plus VAT, which Citroen says is only £545 more than its predecessor, with more than £600 worth of extra features.

These include electronic stability control, Bluetooth, DAB digital radio, daytime running lights and a full-steel bulkhead.

Prices of the expanded and better equipped 14-version range of the New Relay Enterprise versions are now at £800 + VAT more than the standard Relay panel van – £100 less than previously.

Additions to Enterpirse models include cruise control with a variable speed limiter, a perimetric alarm, five-inch touchscreen and Bluetooth, audio streaming and SMS messaging.

Citroën’s Head of Commercial Vehicles & Business Sector Operations Jeremy Smith believes the New Relay is a compelling choice for businesses. “This competitively priced and exceptionally well-equipped range delivers the highest payloads in its sector, along with class-leading load carrying practicality and low cost of operation,” he says.

“With its wide choice of factory-built variants and Citroën’s unique range of Ready to Run specialist-bodied models, there is a New Relay to economically and efficiently suit virtually any business transport requirement,” Smith adds.
