New light-commercial brand Farizon has doubled its van range with the unveiling of a second, smaller model.
Farizon, the commercial arm of Chinese automotive giant Geely which owns Volvo, Polestar and Lotus, launched onto the UK market at the 2025 Commercial Vehicle Show with its SV medium-sized electric van. A year on it has returned to the show to unveil the V7E, a more compact vehicle aimed primarily at urban delivery users.
Slightly narrower than the L1/H1 variant of the SV, the V7E was described by Kate McLaren, head of marketing & sales operations at Farizon’s UK distributor Jameel Motors UK, as class-leading in several areas. These include its 6.9m3 cargo volume, maximum payload of between 1208kg and 1338kg (depending on battery fitted) and 2.73m load length, extending to 3.85m through the cabin bulkhead.
The V7E also features a low loading height of 49 centimetres through its rear doors and is supplied as standard with twin sliding side doors, each 110 centimetres wide.
Built on the same platform as the SV, the V7E will offer a combined WLTP range of up to 204 miles and will be able to recharge from 20 to 80% in 18 minutes thanks to a built-in 100kW charging capability. This according to McLaren will make it perfectly suited to high-frequency delivery drivers, couriers and operators of city-based fleets.
V7E prices will start from £28k excluding VAT and on-the-road costs, and the vehicle also qualifies for the full £5k Government zero-emission van grant. Standard equipment includes an extensive package of ADAS driver aids, wireless Apple CarPlay, a 360-degree surround-view camera and vehicle-to-load capability.
The V7E will also benefit from a range of enhancements being applied to 2026 model year versions of the SV as a result of feedback from early customers. These include uprated security features currently under test at UK specialist Thatcham, much greater adjustment to the driver’s seat and steering wheel, and a wireless Android Auto connection.
The warranty has also been improved, now stretching to four years/100,000 miles with eight years on the battery, and with four years’ roadside assistance provided by the AA.
Farizon also announced its ninth UK outlet; CPD Bodies in Stockton-on-Tees is also the brand’s first approved conversion specialist as Farizon bids to expand the appeal of its vehicles – a seven-seat minibus concept version of the SV was also on display at the CV Show, to gauge interest from UK fleets.
