Vauxhall has unveiled an all-new version of its Corsavan, following the arrival of the latest Corsa supermini last year.
The new Corsavan, revealed at the Brussels motor show, will arrive in showrooms in February at prices from £11,858 plus VAT.
Highlights of the latest model are payload improvements, a new exterior and interior following the style of the hatch, and more efficient engines.
Payload goes up by 21kg to 571kg, while the loaspace allows a flat capacity of 920 litres in a vehicle measuring 402cm long and 194cm wide.
The Corsavan will be sold with a choice of a 1.2-litre petrol engine of 69bhp or 1.3 diesels in either 74 or 94bhp forms, the smaller offering combined cycle fuel economy figures of 83mpg and CO2 emissions of 90g/km.
Driver improvements include the availability of the IntelliLink infotainment system with its seven-inch touchscreen incorporating Bluetooth, DAB and smartphone connectivity.
Sat comfort and support is improved alongside better refinement including a reduction in noise, vibration and harshness.
A wide variety of new options are on offer, including electronic climate control, a Winter Pack with heated seats and heated steering wheel, 16-inch black alloy wheels and rear parking sensors.
A Technical Pack is also available adding several driver aids including forward collision alert, lane departure warning, a rear camera, traffic sign recognition and a following distance indicator.
Vauxhall is also offering Corsvan buyers four years’ zero per cent APR representative finance, four years’ free servicing, four years’ roadside assistance and four years’ warranty. Service intervals are claimed to be class-leading at one year/20,000 miles.
Vauxhall’s Head of Commercial Vehicles Steve Bryant describes the new Corsavan as stylish, comfortable and affordable to run.
“Like its award-winning predecessor, it will hold massive appeal to van drivers, small businesses, fleet decision-makers and company drivers alike”, Bryant says.
