New Isuzu D-Max to be unveiled at CV Show 2017

The latest generation Isuzu D-Max has been revealed ahead of its debut at the 2017 CV Show to be held at the Birmingham NEC in April.

The D-Max has been extensively overhauled and given a new 1.9-litre turbo diesel engine. It retains the capacity to carry a one-tonne payload and tow 3.5 tonnes, and claims to offer a quieter, more refined and economical driving experience.

As with previous models, a rotary dial allows the driver to engage Shift-On-The-Fly 4×4. This key feature of the D-Max allows for the engagement of four-wheel-drive on the move as well as for the selection of low gears. Updated Hill Descent Control and Hill Start Assist systems are available.

The new D-Max retains its capacity to carry a 1 tonne payload and tow 3.5 tonnes and now offers a quieter, more refined and economical driving experience.

The interior has also been updated and the new D-Max will be available with a range of touchscreen entertainment systems which are equipped with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The new D-Max will continue to offer Isuzu’s five-year/125,000-mile warranty. 12,000-mile or 24-month service intervals are offered along with five years’ recovery and European cover. Also available are a three-year paint warranty and a six-year anti-corrosion warranty.

The new Isuzu D-Max will be available to buy in the Spring with UK pricing and specifications to be announced shortly.
