Vauxhall has revealed a new camper version of its British-built van, called the Vivaro Tourer Weekender, ahead of its official unveiling at this week’s Frankfurt motor show.
The Tourer Weekender is the third of three new variations of the Vivaro that will make their premiere in Frankfurt. Last month, Vauxhall announced a business shuttle model called the Tourer Elite and a family-oriented model called the Combi Plus.
Aimed at the lifestyle market, the Vivaro Tourer Weekender features a third-row bed for an overnight stay, and will compete against dedicated camper versions of the Volkswagen Transporter and Mercedes-Benz Vito.
The Tourer Weekender will be available with a 1.6-litre turbo diesel engine a choice of 125hp or 145hp outputs, in L2 long wheelbase body only.
