Renault celebrates a renewed alliance

Renault is celebrating an order of over 300 Master panel vans from Alliance Healthcare, to be used in the delivery of pharmaceutical supplies to nationwide clients.

Supplied via Renault Manchester, the new vehicles replace existing Renault Masters on the Alliance Healthcare fleet and also a number of vehicles from other manufacturers.

The vehicles will be converted by Renault Tech, the manufacturer’s specialist conversion division, to offer full ambient temperature control which is necessary for ensuring the medical supplies are transported at a constant and correct temperature. Renault Tech is also fitting additional lighting and curtains for the side and rear doors.

The new vans are all Business specification models, powered by Renault’s 2.3-litre ENERGY twin-turbo diesel engine which features a stop-start system and regenerative braking. Alliance also specified a number of factory options, including air conditioning, 270-degree opening rear doors, uprated alternator, all-weather tyres and, 68 mph speed limiter and reversing camera.

“We will continue to work with our established partner Renault on future upgrades to our temperature-controlled vehicles, as and when they appear on the market.”
