The SsangYong Musso has now been certified to tow loads up to 3.5 tonnes.
The towing capability was announced by SsangYong UK today, following approval by the VCA (Vehicle Certification Agency).
The Musso, which we reviewed recently, is powered by a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine that produce 175hp and 400Nm. It has a one-tonne payload and a 2.04m2 load-bed, which can accommodate a standard Euro-pallet.
As standard, the Musso comes with four-wheel drive, multi-link rear suspension and rear coil springs.
Drivers can choose from two models: the SE, priced from £16,395 excluding VAT, and the EX which is available with a choice of a manual (£19,395 excluding VAT) or a six-speed Aisin automatic (£19,395 excluding VAT) transmission.
SsangYong offers the Musso with a five-year unlimited mileage warranty.
