Toyota is adding a new range-topper to its Hilux pick-up range.

The Invincible X will arrive with its first customers in February, at prices from £23,842 plus VAT.

Based on the existing Invincible trim level, the newcomer adds a number of styling options.

There is a choice of four 17-inch alloy wheel designs – the standard Invincible rim and a new ‘Rica’ five-spoke variant in all-black, two-tone black/machined or black/graphite finish.

Customers can specify either a rear hi-over bar or a Style Pack – this adds a front guard, silver-coloured under-run, aluminium-finish scuff plates, chrome door handles and chrome surrounds for the bonnet air intake and rear lamp clusters.

Chrome side bars are also included, with or without steps, while inside the leather seat upholstery is offered with four colour options – the standard Invincible black or custom two-tone black with contrasting seatback and cushion inserts in grey, saddle tan or deep red.

All Invincible X models come in double-cab form with the 169bhp 3.0-litre D-4D diesel engine matched to either a five-speed manual or automatic transmission.
