Fiat Professional is displaying its Tris three-wheeled electric delivery vehicle at the Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham this week, marking the vehicle’s first UK public appearance.

The Tris is a compact, lightweight electric vehicle designed specifically for last-mile urban delivery. Although this style of vehicle is popular in Italy and other crowded cities, the Tris is not yet confirmed for introduction to the UK, with Fiat using its CV Show appearance to gauge demand from potential operators.

The Cargo Box variant on display at the NEC offers a 2.25m² load area with capacity for two standard euro pallets, and claims a range of 56 miles per charge. Its three-wheeled format and compact footprint are intended to allow operators to navigate narrow urban streets more easily than a conventional van.

Fiat describes the UK launch as “under consideration”, meaning there are no pricing, payload specifications or availability details. However, the presence of the Tris on the Stellantis stand at the CV Show indicates that the company is seriously considering it.

The Tris can be viewed on the Stellantis stand at the CV Show at the NEC in Birmingham – alongside a number of other models from Vauxhall, Fiat, Peugeot and Citroën – until 23 April.
