ATS Euromaster buys six new Volkswagen Crafters

Tyre fitting, servicing and MOT provider ATS Euromaster has signed a deal with Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles for six new converted Volkswagen Crafters ahead of a complete overhaul of its 200-strong fleet.

The first trial fleet will be a mix of front-wheel and rear-wheel drive Crafters kitted out with a mobile servicing conversion, including air compressors, tyre-fitting machinery and full racking for tools and equipment. They will be put to work across the nation carrying out servicing work to UK drivers.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles products were chosen as a new fleet partner by ATS Euromaster for its on-the-road reliability plus the flexibility of the brand’s Van Centre network.

Following the trial with six vans, ATS Euromaster expects to overhaul its entire 200-strong fleet with Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles models by early 2020.

Based in Aston, Birmingham, ATS Euromaster was established in 1965 and now has a network of over 270 service centres across the UK offering tyre-fitting, MOTs and servicing on-site and using its mobile units.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles offers extended opening hours – plus its own mobile servicing units for customers – across the country meaning ATS Euromaster vehicles can be fixed and maintained during non-working hours or while they’re sitting idle between jobs.

Mark Lynch from ATS Euromaster said “The purpose of our mobile fleet is to keep other UK fleets on the move, so it’s vital that our own fleet is kept running all day, every day. Our values of customer first approach, expertise, and honesty aligns perfectly with the product and aftersales offering from Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.

“We’re excited to see how the Crafter performs as we prepare for a full fleet overhaul soon.”
