Vauxhall is to offer an in-house sign-writing service for buyers of its Vivaro van.

The new service, launched at the CV Show in Birmingham, is claimed to be the only one of its type offered by a UK manufacturer.

Using Vauxhall’s service will, the brand says, save customers time and money as the sign-writing will be carried out on the production line. Pricing is said to be competitive and all work will be covered by a three-year warranty.

Star of the Vauxhall CV Show stand is the new Corsavan, making its debut. It offers an increased payload of up to 571kg, a flat-loading capacity of up to 920 litres and an improved chassis.

Fuel economy is improved to an official combined cycle figure of up to 86mpg and the best CO2 emissions cut to 87g/km. Safety is improved too, with six airbags and active safety systems as standard, as well as Tyre Pressure Monitoring and ESP plus including Hill Start Assist.

Vauxhall is seeing great success in its LCV division. Year-to-date, Vauxhall van sales are up nearly 32% with more than 11,000 vehicles registered in 2015., and market share up to 11%.

The Luton firm is also number one in retail sales and Vivaro the number one van for small businesses with more than 7,000 registrations this year. Vauxhall fleet sales have also grown by 40%.
