Ford is extending its well-known Approved used vehicle programme to the brand’s commercial vehicle line-up.
On offer will be Ford Approved commercial vehicles that have undergone a 160-point quality check, will include a service history and carry a 12-month warranty and Ford Roadside Assistance.
Ford Approved status will only be applied to Ford vans owned by the dealer, less than five years old and with less than 100,000 miles. They will be sold on a 14-day/500 mile exchange programme, and with seven-day drive-away insurance.
The Ford website now offers direct access to a Ford Approved van locator that allows customers to search through UK dealer network stock to find the exact model and specification they need.
According to Ford of Britain chairman and managing director Andy Barratt the Ford Approved scheme will offer commercial vehicle customers complete peace of mind.
“The Ford-backed scheme assures buyers that the vehicle they are purchasing is of suitable quality complete with warranty and roadside back-up,” he says.
