M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions (MGSPFS) has taken delivery of 40 Volkswagen Transporter 4Motion all-wheel drive vans fitted with a UK-first conversion by Bott Ltd.
MGSPFS is part of M Group Services, an infrastructure services business delivering a range of services to the water, energy, transport and telecommunication sectors in the UK and Ireland.
MGSPFS supports all M Group Services operating businesses with plant, equipment and vehicle fleet needs. The 40-strong fleet of converted Volkswagen Transporter vans will help M Group Services-owned operating business, Magdalene, a telecom infrastructure service provider, deliver services to clients nationwide.
The Transporters have been equipped with a UK-first bespoke new fit out design by Bott Ltd. The Bott design, developed in collaboration with MGSPFS, includes underfloor drawers and three Euro boxes for storing tools and equipment, as well as a high-powered inverter kit and a non-slip plywood deck.
Also included is a ladder storage pocket, which will be fitted to match Magdalene’s required ladder specifications, along with a laptop holder, first aid bracket and hygiene system on the rear door.
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles was chosen by MGSPFS because of its complete package, from the suitability of the vehicle to the excellent fuel economy and extensive aftersales service.

“The Volkswagen Transporter vans are an excellent choice for us in this application. We sourced them specifically for work that Magdalene will be delivering on behalf of a new client that will require four-wheel drive vans that can be used on- and off-road.
