Van buyers are being offered a version of the Mercedes-Benz Citan specific to the UK market.

The Sport is a high-spec version of the small van with bespoke styling – Mercedes states that it is a more cost-effective route to a premium and distinctive small van than adding to a standard model.

Offered on Long panel van models with 109CDI and 111CDI engines, the Sport specification includes a choice of six metallic paints; colour-coded bumpers; wing mirrors and tail-light trim and 16-inch multispoke light alloy wheels.

The Citan Sport comes fitted with air conditioning, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, Sport mats and badging, daytime driving lights and chrome trim elements notably on the front grille, sidebars and tailgate trim.

Also included as standard is the three-year unlimited mileage warranty MobiloVan UK, which keeps drivers and passengers mobile in the event of a breakdown or warranty repair taking more than two hours. Service24h, the brand’s roadside assistance service is also part of the package.

Mercedes-Benz Financial Services is offering the Citan Sport to business users at prices from £199 a month including VAT, based on a £1,500 deposit contribution plus 15 per cent deposit over 36 months.
