Renault will debut its latest variation of the Trafic van, the Trafic SpaceClass passenger model, at the upcoming Cannes International Film Festival.

With seating for up to nine people, the Trafic SpaceClass is aiming at the high-end VIP passenger shuttle market.

Renault claims that the modular design of the seats will allow for over fifty different configurations. The inside will also provide comfort through leather upholstery, regulated air-conditioning and individual LED reading lamps.

The exterior has a chrome grille and painted bumpers, with exclusive paint colours and 17-inch diamond-effect wheels available depending on the version.

The Trafic SpaceClass is being targeted at professionals, with the pivoting seats and removable central table allowing it to turn into a mobile office. All versions are equipped with sockets for charging laptops and electronic devices. However, Renault hopes that the van will also appeal to private customers looking for generous cabin volume.

The Renault Trafic SpaceClass will be launched in September 2017. UK pricing and specification have not yet been announced.
