Pelican Rouge, a company specialising in coffee roasting and solutions, has taken a delivery of 62 Volkswagen Crafter vans, attributing the decision to the vehicles’ reliability, and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles’ support network.

Operational in ten countries with over 150,000 customers, Pelican Rouge serves 8,5000,000 cups of coffee a day. In the UK, the Crafters will be used to transport and deliver coffee machines, equipment and products.

Over the next eighteen months, Pelican Rouge UK aims to overhaul its entire fleet, with the new Volkswagen Crafter set to play a significant role.

Mark Hodgson, Pelican Rouge’s senior fleet manager for the UK and Ireland, commented that: “Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is now the manufacturer of choice for Pelican Rouge. The Crafter is the ideal vehicle to improve and progress our business. Its excellent reliability, dependability and consistent performance are key reasons for our decision.”
